Cedar Valley's Youth Read 2017

Chris GrabensteinLemoncelloThe Cedar Falls and Waterloo Public Libraries are pleased to announce Chris Grabenstein as our Cedar Valley's Youth Read 2017 author-in-residence, and this year's feature book is Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library.  From the author's web site: Mr. Grabenstein is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Island of Dr. Libris and Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library as well as the co-author (with James Patterson) of the #1 bestselling series I Funny, House of Robots, and Treasure Hunters.  Winner of all sorts of awards, Chris writes fast-paced and fun page-turners for children and adults. He's also a playwright and screenwriter, not to mention a former advertising executive and improvisational comedian. Sometimes he sleeps.

Mr. Grabenstein will do an evening presentation that is free and open to the public on Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Waterloo Public Library.  Books will be available for purchase at the evening event and the author will sign books following his presentation.
