We have a new system to place materials on hold.  To access our new catalog click here.  Then follow these instructions.  If you had a card in our previous system your pin number is the last four digits of your phone number that we have on file.  If you have gotten a new card in our new system you will be given a generic pin number that you will need to change.  If at any time you cannot remember your pin or aren't sure of what it is you can click on "forgot my pin" and set it to a four digit number of your choice.  If you have any questions please call (319) 273-8643.


Not finding an item in our library?
Click on request materials at the top of our cataloging page.  You will be asked to login with your library card number and your pin number.  Then, a form will come up.  Fill in as much information as possible. You will use this form when you would like to request that the library purchase an item for our collection and when you want to request an item from another library.  We will contact you when your item is ready for pickup.  For detailed instructions click here.
