LitCon 2018 Mascot Contest Winner

Our 2018 Mascot Contest is NOW OVER! The contest ran from MARCH 1 through MAY 31, 2018. Our winner is 20-year-old UNI student Megan Roethler, who has this to say about her winning entry:

From a young age I have always enjoyed using my imagination to create things. I would go dragon hunting with grandpa, build a survival shelter with my younger brother, and feed my pet T-Rex sticks I collected from the backyard.
As I got older, I realized my ability to think on the spot came from my mother always encouraging me to read and learn.
Eventually, I decided to use my creativity as my profession and am currently a fine arts and art history double major at UNI.
This character is a reflection of myself as a child, and my hope for children now to use reading as fuel for their own creativity.
