Summer Reading: Fizz, Boom, Read...WOW!

Thank You to Everyone Who Helped Make This Year's Program Our Biggest One, Yet!

Summer 2014 Alternate Logo

This year's science-themed program featured 4 musical performances, 3 science shows, 2 movie nights, and 1 visit each from IPT favorite Dan Wardell AND best-selling author and performer Eric Litwin!

The 1,465 kids who signed up for summer reading logged over 6,000 library visits; made more than 2,800 crafts; and earned more than 1,800 free books!

Attendance at special events was amazing.  Dan Wardell's visit on June 25th set a new one-day record when over 500 people came to the two sessions, only to have Eric Litwin exceed that mark the very next day!

Grand prize winners will be announced soon.  We'll notify you if you're a lucky winner.

Thank you, again, to everyone who made this year's Summer Reading Program a huge hit, particularly the CFPL Friends of the Library organization, for providing funds for crafts and prizes!
