Michele McNabb from the Danish Immigrant Museum in Elk Horn, Iowa will present a session on Danish Genealogy using sources in Iowa.

Genealogy Work Session

Conduct research on your family history at the library. Use a library laptop computer or bring your own laptop to piece together your family tree. Access to Newspaper Archive and Library Edition will be provided. Registration is required.

Browse the pages of various types of directories to discover where your ancestor worked, lived and played. City Directories are for more than family research. The details can help you date a photograph or plot your relative on a map.
