| We Need Volunteers for a Special Project The library is in the first phase of a major upgrade project. We are looking for volunteers to help install new RFID tags in library materials. Tasks include removing materials from the shelves, attaching the new tags, scanning the items, and replacing them on the shelves. The library uses the Dewey Decimal system so volunteers will need good reading, writing, and alphabetizing skills and the ability to follow directions, pay attention to details, multi-task, and work quickly. If you would like to help with this project, please email rfid@cedar-falls.lib.ia.us or call 319-268-5543. More information will be provided once we have training dates and work schedules in place. |
