Supporting Friends in Early Grief with Sage Love

April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Researcher and mental health advocate Sage Love will give an educational presentation on how to support friends in the first days, weeks, and years of grief April 27th in the Cedar Falls Public Library 2nd floor meeting room from 2-3:30 p.m.
We don't always know what to say or how to help when we see our friend's pain and grief. Maybe we feel scared to say something or we don't know how to help. We might even say the wrong things.
Drawing from the latest bereavement research, data, and writings by psychotherapists, hospice social workers, neuroscientists, social scientists, and more, this one-hour presentation provides attendees with practical tools and information about how to support friends in early grief.
Registration is not necessary. Attendance is free. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
