Book Discussion Groups

The Friends of the Cedar Falls Public Library sponsor two book discussion groups that meet in the Library's Conference Room.  The morning book discussion group meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am and the evening book discussion group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome, no registration is required.  Click here to see a list of upcoming titles for both groups.

New CFPL Online Book Discussion and Newsletter

Do you belong to a book club? Would your group like to receive notices of author events, reading group tips, or book lists?

The Cedar Falls Public Library and the Friends of the Cedar Falls Public Library are asking for your group’s contact information.  The contact information will remain confidential, it will be used to let your group know about reading events and news in our community and possibly feature your group in our newsletter.  Please complete the form with the contact information for someone who is willing to serve as your group’s contact person.  The form can be accessed by clicking here

In early 2014, everyone who likes to read can sign up for our new monthly newsletter by clicking here.  Featured book lists, groups, and news for readers will appear in each issue.

Book Club Newsletter

Please join our new online book discussion, too. GoodReads (www.goodreads.com) members can click on "Groups" and search for “Cedar Falls Public Library” to participate. Comment as little or as much as you want, and explore the love of reading.
