Mary Potter Kenyon

Author Event

Join us on May 22, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. when local author Mary Potter Kenyon will share excerpts from her latest book, CHEMO-THERAPIST:  HOW CANCER CURED A MARRIAGE.  She relates the story of the issues her family faced after her husband's cancer diagnosis, taken from a journal she kept while serving as his companion during chemotherapy.  Mary's search for books on the caregiving experience was not successful, so she decided to write her own, focusing on ways to give hope and inspiration to the reader.

Widely published in magazines, newspapers, and anthologies, Potter is also the author of COUPON CRAZY:  THE SCIENCE, THE SAVINGS AND THE STORIES BEHIND AMERICA'S EXTREME OBSESSION.

The event will be held in the library's second floor Meeting Room.  A book signing will follow the presentation, with copies available for sale.
