The Cedar Valley Road
Do the names Rust, Glasgow, Shaker, or Lamb mean anything to you? These were all stops on the Waterloo, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway, an electric railway that ran from Waverly to Cedar Rapids in the early part of the Twentieth Century. Please join us for an evening with Linda Betsinger McCann, author of The Cedar Valley Road as she relates the history of this interurban railway. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the program. McCann is also the author of Lost Black Hawk County, Lost Butler County, and the forthcoming Lost Bremer County. Event is January 23 at 7:00 pm.
