Award-winning author Gary Holthaus will present a reading and discussion of his book, FROM THE FARM TO THE TABLE:  WHAT ALL AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AGRICULTURE.  Holthaus' twelve books of poetry and non-fiction are grounded in stories of the human values of community, home, and the earth we all share.  Food costs, energy costs, and hunger are rising all around the globe, including America, with over 13,000,000 American children lacking food security.  Farmers in the Upper Midwest and across the country are doing something about it.  Find out what, and how successful it is.
