Actor Duffy Hudson portrays Edgar Allan Poe, who rises from the scene of his mysterious death to tell his life story. April is National Poetry Month, and Poe is one of our country's most well-known poets.
Join us for this incredible performance. Some reviews:
Duffy Hudson was engaging, funny, and witty as Edgar Allen Poe; and open, artless, and conversant during the audience Q & A. There was not a dull moment in the performance. Though previously not a big fan of Poe, I was drawn to him by watching Hudson’s depiction. He brought Poe and his work to life!” (PS—After the performance I went home and pulled out all our Poe literature)
Jeanne Bradley
“I got to see Hal Holbrook doing “Mark Twain” and Duffy Hudson’s “Edgar” compares very favorably…a magnificent performance!”
“Unbelievable! He held us spellbound from start to finish! He really became Edgar Allan Poe.”
Laural Ronk, Executive Director Bluffs Arts Council
"So far, in my entire life, I have never experienced such a beautiful and mind opening show. The theories and attention to detail involved in this show opened my mind in ways I never thought possible."
