Dr. George Day, UNI emeritus professor of English will lead a talk on Ruth Suckow's novel The Kramer Girls. Ruth Suckow lived in Cedar Falls in the 1920s and 1930s, taught courses at UNI, and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery between her husband, Ferner Nuhn, and her father, the Reverend William Suckow. Her novels capture Iowa life in the early part of the twentieth century.
